Technology for Franchised and Independent Dealers.

Auto dealerships run on a technology stack few other industries carry. The DMS, the OEM portals, F&I systems, CRM, inventory feeds, and the physical security plant all have to stay online through extended business hours while also meeting strict federal and state data-protection obligations. Cyber One Solutions supports automotive clients across Texas and Tennessee with both the day-to-day operations and the compliance discipline the industry now requires.

FTC Safeguards Rule and Data Protection.

The amended FTC Safeguards Rule classifies auto dealers as covered financial institutions, which means a written information security program, a designated qualified individual, annual risk assessments, MFA on any system with customer non-public information, and an incident response plan are not optional. We implement and maintain the technical portions of the Safeguards program, document the administrative controls, and prepare the evidence your compliance partner needs at audit time.

Dealer Systems Integration.

DMS uptime, OEM connectivity, printer and barcode-scanner reliability, and the ability to quickly stand up temporary workstations in service lanes or F&I offices shape the day-to-day experience for everyone on the floor. We document each integration, maintain relationships with the major DMS and OEM support teams, and own the coordination when a problem spans multiple vendors.

Extended Hours and Weekend Coverage.

Service departments open early and sales floors close late. Our after-hours on-call rotation is staffed by engineers who already know your environment, which means the person answering the phone on a Saturday afternoon has access to your documentation, your passwords, and your escalation paths without having to read in from a cold start.

Frequently asked questions.

Do you have experience with specific DMS vendors?

Yes. Clients in our footprint use CDK, Reynolds and Reynolds, Dealertrack, and several independent platforms. Our role is not to replace the DMS vendor but to manage the network, identity, and endpoint environment the DMS runs in, and to coordinate with the vendor when integration issues cross boundaries.

Can you help prepare for a Safeguards Rule audit?

Yes. We produce the technical evidence portion of a Safeguards audit (access reviews, MFA enforcement reports, vulnerability scan results, backup validation logs, and incident response test records) and work directly with your legal or compliance advisor on the administrative pieces.
